Your post today made me smile. I have a very dear friend in South Africa, and have long thought you all could rule the world if given half a chance! Your entrepreneurial spirit is a thing to behold.

My friend has had his phone lines stole so many times that it’s almost comical – once the poles went too. Yet he soldiers on.

I had not heard about the underground use of phones in Zimbabwe – clever, but risky with the ring tone option. But then again, living seems risky there at the moment.

Thanks for the entertaining and enlightening blog. I’m enjoying it.
