The British:

Today is clear, and maybe going to actually reach 60 degrees. After wierd cold weather which I'm sure indicates that things are going to get colder, or warmer or something, I am ready to barbecue!

YES! With beef! I have three inch thick ribeyes, and two two inch thick chuck eyes. The most tender part of the chuck, btw.

For my family they will get well done to medium rare steaks, but me, I'm a carnivore. It will be carmalized on the outside and bloody and juicy on the inside. AND hot! Perfect for a human veloceraptor like me.

A freind told me he is afraid to stop next to a field for fear I'd leap out of the car, dash across the fence, and take a fresh bloody bite out of the nearest cow!

Honey, I...

I have it! We take a VW bug and cross it with a Mini, and you get a litter of Volts once every...

How long is the getstation period anyway? Should get at least 3 or 4 in a litter, though...

Till they're weaned, should I give 'em 87 or 91 in a bottle?

Dr. Watson...

Dang. Not again, again. And one of my freinds who is now a pharmacist, graduated from the UW with a 3.74, raised 4 kids by himself, all four now have gone on to honors, with one daughter #2 at the Naval Acadamy some 6 years ago, the others now out and about doing VERY wll. He's from Nigeria.

Seems to me that maybe Idang didn't get the brain God gave to my freind. Maybe that's why he's pissed. Probably more so because That Individual Upstairs handed out four more of 'em to his sons and daughters. AND one to his wife, who is, incidentally, a VERY humerous individual who can whack the funny bone in unexpected and mysterious ways.

Idang? He got the self-inflating substitute. The doughnut. You know, like the one that you put on your car nowadays when you get a flat that lasts only 50 miles or so...

Failed states are a symptoms of tribalism, etc. The wester world went through this, but we have given it the label 'dark ages' or 'medeival' and conveniently filed it away as something different. It isn't.

Heartland:

You can't fool Mother Nature. Mother nature will kick your ass. Mother nature could care less what you think and what you don't. If she gets it into her head that this particular dustball is going to get fairly toasty, well, this chunk of rea estate is GOING to get rather toasty.

I can see us standing there debating as the water rises slowly around our necks...

Hillary and Bob...

Yikes! The Chin and Hillary???!!! What would Ferraro say?

You had to, uh, um, "conflate" the two, didn't you...

Think of the rugrats!!!!

My take on your take.
1. break out into song and dance. If I could dance or sing.
2.I am a capitalist, if it sells it sells. I am also a Technogeek, Maybe we can work on the space thing, and trade75 to 100 miles per gallon. I don't know what we should use for fuel either. Niffty design does it come with a joystick for control.
3. I am not into the whole who is smarter game. A waste of time. The evidence is drum role please, nowwhere anywhere conclusive. What are you going to trust a double blind study on psychology, Yea I am not much into trusting conclusions from those type of scientists. People are comparing apples and oranges. We are people, the black cultures are slightly alien to me. Most of the time I think I see where they are coming from. I don't know how to respond to the American Dream doesn't work. I mean what else is there? Honestly what are you going to replace it with? What other way gives you freedom to choose good things? Honest question, if Zimbabwe wants to create their own great experiment tailored to their culture, okay let me see their plan. If it isn't someone trying for a grab for power go for it.
4. Ad homonym attack. Umm sounds like the same thing the UN report did. Neither is right, so what does the science say. Think of the Climate Science as part of some complex integral. You add a bunch of things up to get an answer to a question. You can't solve the big picture but you can make some simplifying assumptions and get an approximates you show your work to others, everyone says that makes sense it becomes fact. Then someone years later says, hey I have been doing work since you have said that and I don't agree. Now you're trying to overcome "Fact." The UN, Gore, and people are biased towards "the fact". People are useing this issue for political power. And it gets nasty, "you're destroying the world for greed." The rich get the blame because of something we all are useing (otherwise they wouldn't be rich). And Hillary and Gore, and McCain among others get a boast of power because of it. Mean while because of all of this no one talks about the science. Evidence of this you want? Look at my last paragraph, Did I talk of CO2, Water Vapor, Ocean Temperatures, The Sun. No its a political football so every yells about the politics.
5. No Comment. A horse in this race I have not.
