I had just quit smoking for the 3rd time, a week in and hitting the town except I found myself in a “gay” bar without realising it, things like that never cross my mind. Standing at the bar with my friends as we waited for the drinks to arrive I made the statement “I am dying for a fag round about now” I insulted so many people, some just cracked up laughing – it was one of those moments that I shouldn’t really mention I think.

I am glad though that “kiff/keef” is off the market

An older lady is usually called Tantie, although I may just shoot myself the day I reach tantie or tants stage

Jam is jam but jello is definitely jello

How we differ

Your cooldrink is our softdrink

I guess hold thumbs is like crossing your fingers

Your boot is our trunk and we seldom put McDonalds in it and not just because they closed down here.
