I admired this club, support this club..when most people in my place support the blues or the devil, but there’s always something different about this club…

I certainly miss going to games; there is plenty of coverage of the Premiership, or EPL as it is called here, on TV. The season before last, I even saw Norwich on TV a couple of times in FA Cup games.

I have been to baseball games and a single soccer game; the lack of noise and variety in chants from the crowds was sadly disappointing.

@AA – Nah, I tried playing soccer (after too many concussions from A/football and rugby. Those guys are in shape. I played in a Mexican league (in California) and the only Spanish I learned was “cambia” (change) – I was worn-out.
I did go to the World Cup games in Pasadena – The Brazilian fans were amazing!
It won’t translate here for the want of any stats. Maybe they should make up some nonsense for the American fan. It would be easier to follow.

Don’t know crap about fussball but that was one of your best posts.
Sportsmanship is big in my book and that’s one thing that you don’t see with a lot of professional sports.
The video with the Sean Connery voiceover was pretty sappy, but the finish with the tie in of the Jones family tribute will make me root for these guys if I ever have a chance to watch some real football….

And Galaxy… Pay so much money for a second rate winger who can’t dribble the ball. He looks good in soccer clothes and that’s about it. Come over and I’ll show you real football!

@Britinla – Sorry to hear you are a Norwich fan… Hey, no one is perfect! They’re for the birds… I generally take a few Norwich fans down a mineshaft to check for air quality. If they die I know it is time to go… Sorry… Had to get a “Canaries” story in there somehow. But your Liverpool story: That’s why I love them. Their supporters truly respect the opposition and they have an incredible sense of humor. I don’t think too many teams would have done what they did with Rhys Jones. You miss watching games here in the US? I do!

@SanityFound – We know class in South Africa and that is why they are so big over there. I have to correct you though… They are not one of the greatest teams ever to walk this earth! They are THE greatest team to ever walk this earth! Get with it SF or I will have to penalize you…

@Saffer – Arse-nil… Tell me, how many times have the Gooners won the League compared to Liverpool. Oh wait! I’ve got a better one! How many times have you won the EUFA Champions League? See the “nil” after the “Arse”. Haha! Come on, you just like the French accent of old Arse-scene Weiner! Haha!
